Thomas Murphy opened to 1,500 from early position and received calls from Emad Aghasi in the next seat and Shane O’Reilly in the big blind.
The Kd7d5d flop was checked through. On the Ac turn, action was checked to Aghasi, who fired out a bet of 2,500. O’Reilly called, before Murphy produced a check-raise to 8,000. Aghasi called and O’Reilly got out of the way.
The 8c river completed the board, and after quite a bit of thought, Murphy slid out a bet of 11,000, with Aghasi making the quick call. Murphy tabled AdQs for a pair of aces, but Aghasi had got there on the river with Ah8h for two pair.
Emad Agahsi – 110,000 (183 bb)
Thomas Murphy – 29,000 (48 bb)
Shane O’Reilly – 14,000 (23 bb)
