Emad Aghasi opened to 4,000 from early position, and was faced with a three-bet to 10,000 by JP McCann in the big blind, with Aghasi making the call.

On the 7h2s2d flop, McCann continued with a bet of 15,000, which prompted a quick call from Aghasi.

The 2d rolled off on the turn, and McCann continued to fire, sliding out a bet of 25,000. Aghasi took a moment to think, before moving all in for 94,000.

McCann, who covered Aghasi, went into the tank before ultimately making the call. Aghasi showed 5s5h for the full house, but McCann had 8h8s for the higher one, and he sent Aghasi to the rail after scooping a monster pot.

Janos Jeszek opened to 4,000 from early position, and received calls from Adrian Thorne and Mary Seery in the next seats.

The Qs6hTd flop and Kc turn were checked through.

On the Th river, Jeszek fired out a bet of 11,000 and Thorne called. Jeszek showed As9h for ace-high, while Thorne took the pot with JcTc for trip tens.

Around 11,000 was in the middle already, in a hand between Veaceslav Jumir under the gun and Nick Newport in the big blind.

On the Th9c8h flop, Newport check-raised to 10,000 versus a bet of 5,000 from Jumir. Jumir called.

The turn brought the 6s, and Newport led out with a bet of 10,000. Jumir jammed for 46,900, and after a reasonable period of thought, Newport elected to muck his hand.

Kyle Rafferty opened to 2,500 from early position and received a call from the cutoff, before Gedas Bartkus produced a three-bet to 9,000, with Rafferty the only player to come along for the ride.

On the Td5c3h flop, Rafferty checked and Bartkus fired out a bet of 6,400. Rafferty pondered the spot for a moment before producing a check-raise to 25,000. After some thought, Bartkus elected to fold.

Duane McDonnell limped in early position and another player followed suit, before Tomas ‘Lucky Mo’ Geleziunas pumped it up to 7,500 from the small blind, with McDonnell the only player to call.

On the Tc7h4s flop, Geleziunas continued with a bet of 5,000 and McDonnell called.

The Ts turn paired the board, and Geleziunas check-called a bet of 10,000 from McDonnell.

The Ks river completed the board, and Geleziunas checked once more. McDonnell quickly moved all in with the covering stack, and Geleziunas went deep into thought. After a bit of time Geleziunas said “I don’t have much”, and it seemed to be McDonnell’s reaction to this comment which prompted Geleziunas to make the call.

McDonnell said “You’re good” as he tabled Qc9c for queen-high, but looked surprised when Geleziunas turned over Ad4d for the low two pair, tens and fours, Geleziunas finding a big call to secure the double-up.

Irish poker legend Steve O’Dwyer has joined the action, and he opened to 2,200 under the gun, with Sean Foley making the call on the button.

The 9s8d3c flop and 4c turn were checked through. On the Qs river, O’Dwyer led out with a bet of 5,000 and Foley called. O’Dwyer tabled KsJc for king-high, and Foley took the pot with pocket sixes.

Rafferty jammed for around 35,000 and McDonnell went deep into the tank. After around two minutes of thought, he let his hand go, claiming he had folded queen-ten for a flopped straight.

On the AcQc8d flop, Javanainen continued with a bet of 2,500, which failed to shake off Aghasi.

The turn brought the 7d, and Javanainen continued to fire, sliding out a bet of 7,000. Aghasi again called.

The As completed the board, and Javanainen slowed down, checking to Aghasi. Aghasi fired out a bet sufficient to cover his opponent’s remaining stack, and Javanainen quickly folded. Aghasi flashed the Ah as he raked in the pot.
